From inside of her bedroom, under dim fairy lights and a flower bed fixated on her wall, Ndia creates and records most of her melodic patterns and deep-seated lyrics. “I don’t really like recording studios as much. The environment can intrude on the vibe...in my own element, I’m in control of the energy and creative climate. I get to be vulnerable, which produces better music for me, in my opinion.”
2 years parted from her childhood girl-group, Ndia has given birth to a new identity as a solo artist. The young Atlanta native began her music career in an r&b girl group. By 2010, they opened up for Ricky Smiley, Anthony Hamilton, and more.
Early 2015, after deciding to embark on her career as a solo artist, she caught on learning to play 2 instruments and jump started her journey by opening up concerts for talents such as 2 Chainz, Dej Loaf, Young Dro, and more, as well as singing hooks for platinum selling recording artist Young Jeezy.
When asked who has musically influenced her, she answers Selena, Lauryn Hill, Beyoncé, Aaliyah, Sisqo, Frank Ocean, Brandy, and Sadè. Ndia describes her sound as electro-influenced r&b melodies with relatable content. Her charismatic personality, enthusiasm, and emotion make her desirable in all areas of the entertainment field. Ndia represents quality music, empowerment of people, and all that is fun and daring!
